About Us

Growing olive trees and producing the finest extra virgin olive oil has throughout history been a matter for families, whanau, neighbours and friends. So, it was a very natural step for David & Tanya Todd of Heriot Grove and John & Angela Goodwin of Woodside Bay with our neighbouring groves, to come together and share our fruit, all grown in the same wonderful Waiheke earth. For our families and friends to get to know each other better, with hand picking the olives from our 400 trees, enhanced the whole experience. We are proud of the pure oils from our two groves. They capture the sunshine and the joy with which the oils are produced. 

 

Two Groves produce a certified extra virgin oil blend as well as two separate varieties: Picual and Frantoio.  Our oils won two silver medals on their first foray into the annual New Zealand Olive Oil Awards in 2022. The oil is cold pressed to produce smooth and delicious oils, each has its own unique flavour.
